Knowledge event: “IAM and AI – from Hype to Hands-on”

📅 Wednesday Oct 29th | 📍 SonicBee HQ, Europalaan 400, Utrecht | ⏱️ 11:30 – 15:00 incl. lunch

What does AI mean for Identity and Access Management?

Who ISN’T talking about AI these days? It’s a topic on a lot of minds, including ours now. So, let’s talk about IAM and AI! Because what does it mean for Identity & Access Management? How does it affect Identity Governance, where can it help us address our daily challenges, and how to stay compliant in the face of it all?

In this intimate knowledge session, we’ll explore how AI and AI Agents could transform IAM practice. Topics that we’ll cover include: IGA, compliance, lifecycle management of non-human identities, and general risks and opportunities.

We’re co-hosting this session with IAMONES; a company that helps their clients enter the age of conversational identities. They modernise IGA platforms, powered by Graphs and Large Language Models, and will share their insights, perspectives and experiences alongside André and Arjen. Very excited!

What you’ll take home:

  • How AI changes the way we look at identity and access governance and compliance.
  • Non-human identities: maintaining control when AI agents obtain identities, lifecycle management, risks, and opportunities
  • Concrete examples of AI in IAM and use cases for AI-driven decision support; think of request management workflows, access reviews (recertification), and policy configuration.
  • Why a solid IAM foundation remains essential.
  • What AI means for different roles, from CIO/CISO to IAM leads and GRC.

Speakers & hosts:

Interactive:
Panel discussion and open Q&A with peers, to share lessons, debate opportunities, and clarify risks.
