What you will do as Principal / Senior Consultant at SonicBee

As a Principal or Senior Consultant at SonicBee, you’ll work independently and collaboratively on diverse security projects. Acting as the bridge between business strategy and technology, you will advise clients on securely managing their digital infrastructures. You’ll take on a proactive role in developing IAM solutions, crafting security strategies, and solving complex challenges.

Your expertise is reflected in the following:
  • Advising clients on strategic and operational levels about security and Identity & Access Management.
  • Leading projects, conducting audits, and implementing improvements in client IT infrastructures.
  • Identifying deep and/or underlying client needs and translating them into sustainable solutions.
  • Sharing your knowledge actively internally to strengthen the team and externally to position yourself as thought leader, and contributing to the professionalization of our services.
  • Building and maintaining a relevant network of clients and partners.
Valued and relevant skills
  • We are looking for an experienced consultant driven to make an impact. Ideally, you meet the following criteria:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a senior or principal consultant in cybersecurity, IAM, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and uncover the core issues our clients face.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbally and in writing–able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • A structured working style with attention to detail, including project management experience.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and contribute to SonicBee’s (international) growth.
  • Proven experience in roles such as (C)ISO, security consultant, or project manager in the security sector.
  • Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CCSK are a plus, as is knowledge of IT architecture and securing digital infrastructures.
  • You know your way around building and expanding client portfolios and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Fluent in Dutch (speaking and writing) as most of our clients are Dutch-speaking
