The SynerBee AFAS connector is certified!
SynerBee for employees provides access management for employees automated. To realize this, SonicBee’s development team created a connector that connects AFAS with an Active Directory (AD). This connection has now been officially certified by AFAS and therewith shows quality and trust of AFAS in SynerBee for employees as a complementary element for AFAS customers.
What is SynerBee and why?
We believe that all companies should be able to use professional solutions for smart and secure access to collaborate digitally. Nevertheless, we saw a lack of pragmatic and innovative solutions for medium-sized organizations. That’s why we started developing SynerBee. The scalable SaaS solutions portfolio that SonicBee has developed to enable mid-sized organizations to do just that.
The road taken
For the past year and a half, SonicBee’s scrum team has been working hard to develop SynerBee. Initially, they worked hard to create a good foundation to offer the scalable elements in an effective and highly secure way from the cloud. Meanwhile, the product vision and agile working method were further refined. Backlog items were then picked up to deliver ‘MMP-1’.
In November, the time had come: The first element SynerBee for employees was brought to the market.
SynerBee for employees and the AFAS connector
SynerBee for employees offers a solution to the problem of giving and withdrawing access for employees of the own organization (joiner-mover-leaver process). Through a smart link via the Intelligent Access Platform of SynerBee, new employees created in AFAS as HR source system, are automatically provided with an account in Microsoft Azure AD. In order to become certified, the SynerBee AFAS links had to meet a number of conditions, for example concerning technical operation and security. In May, the development team gave a flashing technical demo to AFAS Systemintegrator Eric Zwaal, who has a lot of knowledge and experience in the field of software development. He judged SynerBee to be a valuable addition for AFAS customers. Moreover, he indicated to be impressed by the realized connection. A big compliment for our development team!
What does the AFAS connector certification mean?
It is important that the supplier of the software SynerBee connects to, also sees the added value of the solution and that we have a good partnership with AFAS. In this way we can respond faster to updates and upgrades of AFAS. This is of course very convenient for SynerBee-AFAS customers.
In addition, SynerBee is now mentioned on the partner website of AFAS and we have access to the AFAS network during events. This way, organizations that use AFAS and are looking for a solution for their access management can find us even better.
